Just tried to get blueprint information for a specific blueprint from the item list and the app crashes. Rebooting my iPhone didn't seem to solve the problem.

I've noticed that I've had to add another level to 'Jump Drive Calibration' in the Jump Planner to get similar enough results to web-based Jump Planners. It begs the question as to whether the system is calculating jump ranges accurately enough. I know that, with my skills as they are (Jump Drive Calibration IV), I can go as far as 13 light-years with a carrier, but the planner seems to claim I have less than perhaps 11 light-years range. If I had another level, I'd have a range of 14.625 light-years, according to the DOTLAN EveMaps planner.

A basic carrier has a range of 6.5 ly by default, Jump Drive Calibration adds 25% per level. At 4, this means it's doubling the range, from 6.5 to 13.

Not sure what sort of calculation method is being used for the jump range... but at least the fuel seems accurate.

I just thought I'd call attention to this issue, just in case people are relying on the iClone tool to tell them how to efficiently get their capital ships from one place to another.

Absolutely no idea on the audio. I'll have a look, but I've certainly not (consciously) added any sounds to the app, other than the skill training notification one... bizarre!

Also, I hear an odd bit of audio when I touch the Industry button. It sounds a little like dice rolling.

I just moved to iPhone from Android and iClone was my first install. I love the Aura app for Android and was glad to find something similar for iPhone. But, after 24 hours all my toons are loaded. I finally found the Asset search by pulling down on the Asset list. So I typed in Dreaded which should come up with a number of matches across all my toons and corporation. Instead it hung for 15 mins with the "busy" twirly rolling. I went back to home screen and tried to go back to iClone which remained hung. Eventually I just killed the process. There is no cancel search option, and I think 20 mins is a long time to wait for a result. I have 4 toons loaded.

What I was hoping to see was a list across all the toons and corp places like "Toon 1 has 5, Toon 3 has 24" and then able to drill down so I can see that the 24 matches are in three stations...

Two things:
1) send crashlogs to [support_at_iclone.co.uk]
2) what is it you don't understand about the wallet? As it is, it shows a calendar with a 'dot' on each day you you have a walletjournal record. That way you can quickly see when you had transactions and they are sorted per day. For actual market transactions (so not ratting bounties and such) you can check the details (what you sold/bought and to/from whom). Maybe you expected the same view as in Eve itself?

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of iClone because I read in the update notes that the Wallet crash issue was resolved with the new release. Before the upgrade when I opened the Wallet tab, the program would crash to the the iPhone home screen immediately. Now when I open it, I see the calendar (which I don't understand btw if it's supposed to show wallet information) briefly, then it crashes to the home screen. So I would say there has been a little improvement with the newer version, however, it is still broken for me. I understand you need crash logs. The site you provided with instructions menttions the location of these logs on the computer and says that if you upload them to iTunes that you would be able to access them there. But it doesnt describe how to upload the logs to itunes.

Hi,

I sent a crash report last night to [support@iclone.co.uk]. I hope you got it okay.

I found the following site to be slightly better at explaining how to get crash reports...

I couldn't find the crash reports before because the "Application Data" directory is hidden by default. If you follow the instructions above, and type in the path in explorer (assuming you are using Windows XP), then it apprears.

Here was my path...

[C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Application Data/Apple Computer/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/XYX iPhone]

I hope that helps get you some more reports :)

Happy hunting - for bugs

I have a similar situation that between 3 accounts, I have 7 in the same Corp, so I see 6 echos of the one Corp. Is there any way to check this info when it's displayed to remove echoes? It's not that big of a deal as they all give me the same info, but the clutter isn't fun.
